What we do
We are the UK charity dedicated to supporting Westonbirt Arboretum's vision to become a world leader in trees, inspiring people through education, participation and conservation.
We believe that trees are essential to our planet and our future, and we are committed to their conservation and promotion.
Our work
We work in three main areas:
Conservation
We support the arboretum in its work to care for its collection of trees, including planting new trees, conducting research, and protecting the arboretum from pests and diseases.
Education
We provide educational opportunities for people of all ages, so that they can learn about the importance of trees and how to care for them. Westonbirt offers a variety of programmes, including school visits, family events, and adult workshops.
Participation
We promote the arboretum to visitors from all over the world, so that they can experience its beauty and learn about its importance. We work with the arboretum to develop engaging activities such as seasonal trails for visitors to enjoy.
