It’s been a brilliant few months for us here at the Silk Wood Community Planting Project. Since January over 600 participants came to plant a grand total of 3300 trees! Despite the occasional frost and the, not so occasional, torrential rain our groups put their all into making sure each tree gets the best start and will be there in years to come.

Over the next few weeks we'll be saying goodbye to the much-loved Exploratree play equipment at Westonbirt Arboretum. But fear not! Plans are underway for new and exciting play areas in the future.

Westonbirt Arboretum is a beautiful place to visit in the spring. There are many flowers in bloom, including rhododendrons, azaleas, cherry trees, daffodils, and anemones. There are also many fun family activities too!...
