I have said before that a fundraiser’s life is never boring… and this weekend was no exception.
Whenever you tell people that you work at Westonbirt arboretum, they inevitably respond with things like “It must be a wonderful place to work” and “I bet it’s beautiful at the moment”.

I have lots of good days working at Westonbirt Arboretum, who wouldn’t? But the day I picked up a cheque for £250,000 (the first instalment of a £500,000 award) definitely tops the list.
