Spring things are really getting going here at Westonbirt right now.

Quite a different theme this week. We are all drawn towards different things at different times, and for me, today it was the awesome Alders!...

Spring is springing here at Westonbirt, with our trees waking up (some before others!) and providing us with spectacular floral and foliage displays for all to enjoy.

So once again I journeyed into the Old Arboretum with the camera to show some more of our autumn goodness here at Westonbirt and there still plenty of it, I can assure you of that!!...

We thankfully appear to have missed the worst of any storm here at Westonbirt and although it is becoming particularly damp in some areas, autumn is very much still on!...

Well, the colours are progressing nicely here at Westonbirt and I have been out on more than a few mad dashes in the last few days capturing what I can and will highlight just a snippet of what has been catching my eye (and nose!).

As members of the tree team here at Westonbirt, we are always looking to find ways to improve the management of plant collections.
